Montcalm 免费福利一区二区鈥檚 men鈥檚 golf team took first place at the Schoolcraft College Invitational on Sept. 16 at Salem Hills Golf Club.
MCC鈥檚 Centurions recorded a new program record team score shooting a 300, six strokes ahead of runner up, Mott 免费福利一区二区.
Head Coach Doug Harkema was pleased with the team鈥檚 play.
鈥淚t鈥檚 wonderful to see the hard work that these men have put in to start the season,鈥� he said. 鈥淚鈥檓 excited at the potential of this team.鈥�
Zach Johnson and Ryan Clingenpeel both tied for 2nd place overall shooting a 73. Mason Blair finished tied for 6th shooting a 75. Ethan Johnson and Jerald Brownell both tied for 14th shooting a 79 to round out the team score. Golfing as individuals were Kenny Mitchell tied for 17th shooting an 80. Carter Baker tied for 35th shooting an 85, followed by Landen Doughtery Tied for 41st shooting an 87.
The competition consisted of 57 golfers from Delta College, Henry Ford 免费福利一区二区, Jackson College, Kirtland 免费福利一区二区, Mott 免费福利一区二区, Oakland 免费福利一区二区, St. Clair County 免费福利一区二区, Schoolcraft 免费福利一区二区 and Wayne County 免费福利一区二区.
